Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to shop CAT® Workwear. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and we test the site on phones, tablets and computers.

What the site supports

  • Shopping the whole site with a keyboard, from the menu to checkout.
  • Screen readers such as VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA: buttons, menus and popups are labeled, and cart updates are announced.
  • Text and buttons with strong color contrast.
  • Your device's reduce motion setting.
  • Zooming in, and your device's text size settings.
  • Descriptions (alt text) on product and page images.

Checkout is provided by Shopify, which maintains its own accessibility. Some features come from partners, such as chat, reviews and payment options; we choose and set them up with accessibility in mind.

Our ongoing work

We check accessibility whenever we change the site and have it reviewed by an outside accessibility specialist once a year.
