Product Care

General Care

All Caterpillar Workwear items include a care instruction tag with specific details on how your product should be washed and treated.  Please refer to the care instructions on the tag before washing any garment.  In general, wash your cloths in cold to warm water with mild laundry soap.  Tumble dry on low and do not overload your dryer for best results.

Waterproof Care

Refer to the care instruction tag on the garment for specific details.  Machine wash separately in cold water with powder detergent.  Rinse thoroughly and tumble dry on low.  You may need to reactivate the DWR water repellent finish if water does not bead off the garment after it is dried.

Do NOT bleach, dry clean or use fabric softener.

Insulated Care

Refer to the care instruction tag on the garment for specific details.  Machine wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent.  Tumble dry on low with three clean tennis balls to restore fluff and even out the insulation.

Cotton Care

Refer to the care instruction tag on the garment for specific details.  Machine wash in cool to warm water with a mild detergent.  Tumble dry on low to medium.  Remove from machine quickly to prevent wrinkling.

Polyester Care

Refer to the care instruction tag on the garment for specific details.  Machine wash in warm water with a mild detergent.  Tumble dry on low.

Polyester Blend Care

Refer to the care instruction tag on the garment for specific details.  Machine wash in warm water with a mild detergent.  Tumble dry on low.  Remove from machine quickly to prevent wrinkling.
